one woman's terrifying and glorious leap off the cliff of midlife
Oh, how rude of the rice to interrupt! ;)Cooking Early Rice
love the whisperand was reading yesterday on this being the season of ricewe dont grow it here so was new to me...
I'm wondering if the rice might also be interrupting the sunrise...Old Man and Rice
And they do whisper in the breeze:) What a sight back lit with sunrise!
...just adds to the beauty - Lovely poem.
I like this vibrant image
There is a very nice mystery here... love that
Thank you all. I was concerned that personification was moving too far away from form.
Personification isn't often used in haiku, but I like it though, because I think that everything has a spirit. The classical haiku masters used also personification ... so you can do that too. Nicely written haiku LaTonya.
Kristjaan, I think very highly of what you do on your site. When you like a piece by me, I'm flattered. Thank you.
