All Things Considered

You uncurl like an early Sunday yawn.
Draped in paper robes and coffee stirs
you absently listen to feathered conversations
outside our window-
till Linda percolates on the counter.

    1. K, M commented how much me is revealed in my work. Not all is autobiographical but most of my favorites are. I wrote this for Mister for our anniversary one year. This is just a love poem. Thank you.

  18. Because it rained last night, I got to experience that type of Sunday morning myself. I look forward to those these days. Your words from this poem are probably going to be a part of those Sundays from now on. :)
