Things I learned in June

Relyn has invited friends to join her for her month end feature, What I learned. I'm a glad she asked me. Here a few things I learned in June:

Not working my part-time job has been an unexpected, good time off.

I found my blogging groove and I'm ectastic.

Some things don't change like the joy of meeting new friends and reconnecting with old ones.

I'm in love with morning meditation and yoga.

Childhood music and summer go together.

Nothing like enjoying an unhurried meal with my man, and he puts on the best home concerts.

  2. I learned that a June bug on the back of my neck while driving equals expletive deleted and my son going What?!? What?!? as I flung it more or less towards him. Sorry, kid. :)

  3. I found your post via Relyn's Mr. Linky. I agree about unhurried meals. With your man. With your friends. By yourself, even. We all rush too much-- and mealtime, when enjoyed slowly, is so much better. If only we could get in that habit permanently.

I agree. I really enjoy a good meal and good company.

    Thank you for coming by.

  5. I had to laugh. Mine is childhood music, it's teen-hood music, but just now I am LOVING my summer 80s playlist.
