You know, I tend to desire roots over wings. While I love to travel, I want to go to a destination, make a few memories and come home. But even I must admit there's something magical about an airstream . . .
Amelia, I preferred roots, too. At this point in my life, there is this urge to move. I want to move until I know it's time for roots again. Thank you for coming by.
I always have to refer back to my feeling that the journey is within no matter where one is physically. I like both having roots and wings but only for the experience.
smooth as silk, makes me crave a road trip...parents are taking my littles next weekend so just me and T....hmmm...might just haveta....ya know...smiles.
LaTonya - what I love most about coming here is that your blog, not just your writing is always filled with treats - wonderful surprises. I love that. And this poem? I love the fast crisp clip. I want an Airstream too. However, we have gotten too old to enjoy it. So I will hop along on yours for just 100 miles or so. That would be fun. I'd love to here about some of your family stories.
Liz, you know how to make a woman feel appreciate. DH read this and asked, "Why not?" Enough said. Making plans, Liz. And keep coming and the stories will be here. I'm just finding my groove again and I like it.
Oh goody! Stories! I ADORE peoples' stories. Cant wait. I sent this link to my daughter who has always wanted an airstream. AND a good partner. Hope she finds both.
Sherry, we have a couple of years before we can jet out of here and I met my guy after babies and divorces. It's possible. Thanks for coming by. You always make me smile.
LaTonya, sensual woman that you are... have to tell you, a Winnebago like this one is how Lex and I are pondering retirement. We won't have enough dosh for a fancy place, we've always rented, so we figure we'll pack up our pack and move, with plenty of pull-overs along the road... wink. If the 'Bago's rockin', don't bother knockin'!!
Love your take on vacation. So much lovin' in so few words, and steamy at that! Amy

ReplyDeleteIt's certainly is fun to go on vacation bringing along amenities and conveniences that the caravan provides. Nicely La Tonya!

Amy, it won't be fancy just comfortable and functional. Now you know who inspires most of my work. :-)
