Hey Disney, Nobody touches the bow!

I've got flaming red hair and wicked skills-
I don't need boobs and Barbie's 12 inches.

Keep the prince;
I'm too busy kickin' butt
besides I might want Barbie
with a buzz cut  and boots
and red lipstick.

Hey Disney, back up with the boobs
and tamed tresses.

I've got flaming red hair and wicked skills.
Would you like to lose a pair?

*I highly recommend reading a re-telling of Cinderella entitled Ash by Malinda Lo

  5. Read the creator's response. Linked to it. It was my inspiration for the piece.

    I'm all for women defining themselves, and I get quite riled up when we sell our girls ideals that might not be what they want to be.

    I ran a library for girls. Don't get me started.

    An author friend, did write a different princess. I highly recommend reading a re-telling of Cinderella entitled Ash by Malinda Lo

    I put copies of it in the library I built for girls at a non-profit and shared other copies with others.
