Bye, bye Google Reader, Hello Bloglovin' & how did I get mustard on the screen?

This week, I'm flipping the script. As you many of you know Google Reader shuts down on July 1, I'd like to know how many of you have or are switching to Bloglovin'? I use it. I need help keeping up with the blogs I enjoy and I hope friends and readers are following me via Bloglovin' or any feed.

What is the best way you've found to keep up with your favorite blogs? Do you have a blog routine or schedule? I read early mornings and during my bus commute. Binge on weekend mornings into afternoon when possible. Minimal reading during weekday evenings, trying to achieve that life/family balance groove.

If you're on Bloglovin', let me know. I likely already have your blog added, but if I don't I'd love to check out what you're doing.

And can't leave without a few treats. I'm pms'ing big time so it's all about food. Enjoy:

Mo at Brown Vegan is fun. She's a young mom so you can expect easy, quick and tasty food. You can't make boys eat something that doesn't taste good to them. I like that she provides video in addition to the recipes. I can't always watch or want to see the video but it is a great option. One feature is What We Ate today. Check out this day's menu

I don't read many food blogs, but I found one I love. It's food, photography and commentary, solid writing. Sorry, call me snob. While my style is casual it's always intentional and never lazy writing. Anyhoo, this young couple offers up amazing food and they share their lives. I'm in. I'm a sucka for a good story. Check out David and Luise's Green Kitchen Stories. Hungry, try Grilled Asparagus & Creamy Lemon Quinoa

What have you read or seen that moved you, inspired you, caused you to act? Drop a link.

Happy blog hoppin'!

  3. Brian, it freaked me out! Google suspected some activity and I couldn't verify my info until I got home. Can't tell you how relieved I was to find out I still had a blog. Thank you.

Signing up is simple. It's different but easy enough. Thanks for coming by.

  5. Ann, very similar to reader. You can organize your blogs by category. You decide how often you get a digest sent to your email. you can click read in email or access link. Go to the website, google or go to bottom of my page. Do it today so you can import everything from Google. Otherwise, you'll have to rebuild from scratch.
