Happy Anniversary
It seems the older I get the more I am looking back. Don't fret. I'm not living in the past rather I'm simply more mindful and grateful for the life I have. Today, I celebrate twenty-one years
clean and sober. Not the kind of anniversary some are comfortable sharing publicly but hey, after two plus decades, if anyone wants to judge me, have at it.
I chose the lotus to commemorate because years I go I ran community, Lotus Blooms. It was a lovely space. Our members were creative, kind, smart and loving folk. One friend designed a lotus logo for us and one year, I received a framed print of a lotus (an integral part of my beautifully renovated spa bathroom) from friends at the community for Christmas. Looking back, I am reminded how much I am loved, how much others have enriched my life and how good life is today.
